Carrefour Group is dynamically developing its SUPECO brand which combines a discount store and a wholesaler. SUPECO debuted on the Polish market in 2016 when a shop in Piekary Śląskie was opened. The second shop was opened in 2017 in Tarnobrzeg, another one was opened in Gostyń in December 2019.
This year Carrefour chain sped up the development of the concept and opened 6 new shops. In July a point of sale was opened in Jaworzno, in August in Zabrze and Starogard Gdański. Two new shops were opened in September in Bogatynia and Zgorzelec. The latest – ninth – SUPECO shop was opened on the 29th of October in Skarżysko-Kamienna.
The newest shop covers more than 1700 square metres and offers its customers about 4500 products.
We are very pleased that MAGO display solutions have been used in newly opened shops. In SUPECO shops we used NX MINI rack system which makes it possible to effectively combine pallet racks (frames, traverses) with shop racks with the perforation of 50 mm (gondolas, single-sided racks). Backs and brackets can be attached directly to the columns of frames, while various integration setups can be achieved using dedicated accessories.
MAGO NX racks are used mainly in high storage warehouses, but they are also often used while organising commercial space in shops. The use of appropriate series of frames and traverses makes it possible to create functional constructions used in “cash & carry” or DIY commercial facilities.
We felt time pressure because of our commitments and agreements with our client. A good plan and detailed work schedule are crucial in the case of such undertakings. Our experience of more than 30 years shows that planning all details in advance is the key to success. That is why we managed to build all shops on time despite difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
SUPECO shops are available both for business customers who conduct business activity in the area of trade and gastronomy and for individual customers. Thanks to the combination of a discount store and a wholesaler SUPECO offers a wide range of products at attractive prices and a possibility to buy in bulk. The chain offers both fresh products and packed ones, as well as cosmetics, alcohol and household chemicals.
